Why Use A Mortgage Adviser

Mortgage Adviser’s – Why use them?

Maybe you’re looking to buy your first home, or you might have a mortgage already.

Well, let’s look at what a mortgage adviser will do for you and why you should be using one.

You might be thinking you can just go into your local high street bank that you’ve been with for years, and they’ll be able to sort you out.

You would be half right.

But you’re potentially going to be missing out on the best deals and a lot more if you do that.

Your own bank is going to be restricted to talking about
– their own affordability
– their own lending criteria
– their own products.

What does this look like?

Your own bank may say that you’re able to borrow £150,000, but you’re going to need to put in a 15% deposit.

But another lender might be able to give you £175,000 and you only need to put in a 10% deposit.

You’d miss out on that option by not speaking to a mortgage adviser

And what about the actual rates themselves?

Well, like I’ve said, your own bank can only talk about their products and their rates, and they might not be the best available.

So again, speaking to a mortgage adviser can make sure you get the best rate that’s available to you.
And finally,

What if your bank said no, we’re actually not able to give you a mortgage?

Are you just going to give up and not bother trying to buy that house?

Well, if you’re using a mortgage adviser, we can check with other lenders, which means you might still be able to get that mortgage!

Basically, a good mortgage adviser is going to work with you to make sure that you get the best mortgage that is available to you.

This could mean
– a better rate
– more money
– or even a mortgage if your bank says no
